Jonatan Christie
Leonardo Jonatan Christie or usually known as Jojo is an Indonesian badminton player specializing in the singles discipline affiliated with the Tangkas Specs club. Jonatan Christie was born in Jakarta on September 15th, 1997. He rose to fame after winning a gold medal in the men's singles at the 2018 Asian Games. In July 2013, he won his first senior international title at the age of 15 at the Indonesia International Challenge, after defeating Alamsyah Yunus in the final.According to Wikipedia, Jonatan Christie has won 264 matches. In 2014, at the Indonesia International Challenge tournament, he also reached the final but lost to South Korean veteran Lee Hyun-il in a 5 set match. In 2013 and 2014, Jonatan together with Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Ihsan Maulana Mustofa were Indonesia's mainstays in the BWF World Junior Championships and BWF Asia Junior Championships. While participating in the championship, Jonathan always lost in the quarterfinals in the individual championship.In 2015 Jonathan increasingly participated in senior tournaments at higher levels such as Grand Prix, Grand Prix Gold, Super Series and Super Series Premiere. At the 2015 Indonesia Open Superseries Premiere, he managed to defeat a veteran Korean player, Lee Hyun Il in the second round, although he finally stopped in the quarter-finals.
In 2009 he also appeared as a supporting role in a badminton-themed film entitled King. This film was directed by Ari Sihasale and dedicated to badminton legend Liem Swie King.
